Sunday 3rd July we are hosting the first Tri Series event for 2022. Spectator entry is by gold coin and bring some spare change to enjoy our bake sale or custom 'Gym' bracelets. Gymnasts can wear their regular gym wear and we would recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before the start of their session. We highly recommend the wearing of face masks.

Pizza and Play A fun evening playing inside the gym, using any and all of the equipment. We provide the attendees with pizza and hot chips! Funds raised will be going towards our gymnasts who will be attending the New Zealand National Championship's being held in Invercargill.

We are working with our wonderful volunteers to get the club back up and running. Unfortunately we do have some of them unavailable due to isolating or not feeling well. Majority of classes will be able to return from Wednesday 16th March and we would like to thank our volunteers for making this possible. Hi families, We have made the decision to temporarily close the club, effective immediately. At this stage we will remain shut for a fortnight, however this will be reviewed Monday 14 th March. This is not a decision made lightly, however with gymnastics being a close contact sport, we feel this is in the best interest of our volunteers and our families. Gymnastica Gym Club

Hi Gymnastica families, As at 11.59pm Sunday 23rd January, New Zealand was placed into the Red setting. To ensure we can continue to operate, we are now required to check vaccine passes of anybody over the age of 12years, 3months who wishes to enter our facility. Need help with childcare? Look no further, we have action packed days full of fun activities to keep your child busy.  Bookings essential: gymnastica@xtra.co.nz Please ensure you child is wearing clothing suitable for active participation (no zips, buttons, or other hard metal or plastic embellishments). Gymnastica Gym Club advises that at Alert Level 2 we can continue with classes but observing the following guidelines:  If your gymnast is unwell, keep them at home.  All gymnasts must sanitise on arrival, between circuits and before leaving the gym. Bookings are now being accepted for our upcoming school holiday programme.

Term 3 is just around the corner and we will be back up and running most of our classes. Invoices for term three are being sent this week with payment due in 14 days , this will allow us to then juggle gymnasts and coaches to ensure we meet our coach to gymnast’s ratio, before classes start back up. Please ensure you login at our website and check personal and contact details are correct.

We are currently working through best practises so we can make a return to the gym. There are a number of criteria we need to meet, including limiting group sizes to 10 (gymnasts and coaches), regular cleaning, contact tracing as well as how we meet physical distancing requirements. We hope to have a staggered return, which will give us the opportunity to return to our 'new normal'. Kia

COVID-19 Update 22/3/2020 5.30pm At this point the club will remain open and we are assessing the situation day by day. We can meet all the necessary steps as required by the government and have implemented additional cleaning regimes while we have gymnasts within the gym, on top of our already thorough daily clean. Welcome to a new year. Our Gym for All classes start back the week commencing 4th February (excluding Wednesday classes who will commence 13th Feburary). If you are unsure please log into the website and check your gymnasts events/classes. Please ensure your gymnast brings a water bottle to every class, long hair is tied off the face and clothing is suitable for active participation. 

We know our members love gymnastics and we know you also love summer, so we are hosting a photo competition to join the two. Simply take a photo of your gymnastics skill out and about and share with us. Three great prizes up for grabs, $100 towards your Term 1 subscription or one of two summer outdoor gift packs.

With the state of emergency now lifted, we are pleased to confirm all classes will run as scheduled. Parents plese ensure your gymnasts brings their own boiled / bottled water bottles.

Sunday 4th June (Queens Birthay Weekend) we are hosting the Midlands Aerobics Champiosnhips at the NPGHS Sports stadium. Clubs from around the North Island will be in attendance from novice to international athletes. Up for grabs will be Midlands championship titles (Taranaki, Bay of Plenty and Waikato) in the elgible divisions. Everyone welcome to come along and support this great event.&n
