Gymnastica Gym Club advises that at Alert Level 2 we can continue with classes but observing the following guidelines: If your gymnast is unwell, keep them at home. All gymnasts must sanitise on arrival, between circuits and before leaving the gym. Hand sanitiser is available at the front door and within the gym. Physical distancing will be observed. Term 3 is just around the corner and we will be back up and running most of our classes. Invoices for term three are being sent this week with payment due in 14 days , this will allow us to then juggle gymnasts and coaches to ensure we meet our coach to gymnast’s ratio, before classes start back up. Please ensure you login at our website and check personal and contact details are correct.
We are currently working through best practises so we can make a return to the gym. There are a number of criteria we need to meet, including limiting group sizes to 10 (gymnasts and coaches), regular cleaning, contact tracing as well as how we meet physical distancing requirements. We hope to have a staggered return, which will give us the opportunity to return to our 'new normal'. Kia

COVID-19 Update 22/3/2020 5.30pm At this point the club will remain open and we are assessing the situation day by day. We can meet all the necessary steps as required by the government and have implemented additional cleaning regimes while we have gymnasts within the gym, on top of our already thorough daily clean. All classes commence this week (3rd February) excluding our Thursday classes who will commence on the 13th February (Waitangi Day 3rd February). There is a few placements still avaiable for those wishing to start this term. Don't forget to bring a named water bottle and check clothing has no buttons, zips or domes
A reminder to all our existing Gymnastica families to check their emails for invoices sent 1st January. Due date is the 15th January for majority of our Gym For All families, with payment needed to confirm your gymnasts existing class. Want to keep the kids busy over the holidays? Our fun filled holiday programme is back and action packed! Crafts, Games & Gymnastics skills are all included. We are running January 14th, 15th, 16th, 21st, 22nd & 23rd 9am - 3pm $30 per child per day (please ensure your child brings morning tea, lunch and a water bottle and wears clothign suitable for active participation)

Our Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday Gym For All (Artistic, Aerobics, Aerial and Tumble) classes have completed the nine week term we offer. Wednesday and Saturday Aerial have one further class. Welcome to a new year. Our Gym for All classes start back the week commencing 4th February (excluding Wednesday classes who will commence 13th Feburary). If you are unsure please log into the website and check your gymnasts events/classes. Please ensure your gymnast brings a water bottle to every class, long hair is tied off the face and clothing is suitable for active participation.
We know our members love gymnastics and we know you also love summer, so we are hosting a photo competition to join the two. Simply take a photo of your gymnastics skill out and about and share with us. Three great prizes up for grabs, $100 towards your Term 1 subscription or one of two summer outdoor gift packs.

Majority of classes start the first week back of the school term. A reminder to families to ensure your gymnast is arriving at the club, on time, suitably dressed (no domes, zips or buttons on cliothing), long hair tied off the face and no jewelery (stud earrings only). We will be running all scheduled classes as usual for Wednesday 21 February. Families please ensure you bring your own bottled/boiled water for your gymnasts personal use. We will continue to update each day while New Plymouth remains in a state of emergency and water restrictions are in place.
All classes have now finished for the year and a great time had by everyone with our 'bring a friend' evenings. Sunday 4th June (Queens Birthay Weekend) we are hosting the Midlands Aerobics Champiosnhips at the NPGHS Sports stadium. Clubs from around the North Island will be in attendance from novice to international athletes. If any parent would like to support the club and their child, we are happy to offer Coaching Today online modules as an opportunity to get an understanding of what coaching is all about.
